The 'Puppen-Paradies' (Doll's Paradise) is situated at Berliner Straße 102 in Gliesmarode, an Eastern suburb of Braunschweig (Brunswick/Germany). This town, well-known by its founder Heinrich der Löwe (Henry the Lion), lies between Hannover (Hanover, where the world exposition EXPO 2000 had taken place) and Wolfsburg (where the Volkswagen is produced). You reach me as follows:
Coming from Berlin (A2):
Turn off at exit Braunschweig-Ost and take the B248 to Braunschweig. After 7 km you see my shop just after a big crossroad at the left-hand side. At the next crossroad you should turn around with your car. In front of Berliner Straße 102, there are some parking places.
Coming from Hannover (A2):
At the motorway junction (Autobahnkreuz) Braunschweig-Nord, go down the A391 (direction Kassel). Take the third exit for Braunschweig-Lehndorf and turn left to the city (Innenstadt). After 700 m there is a square (Rudolfplatz) where you have to turn left. Go straight ahead for several kilometres (Neustadtring, Rebenring, Hans-Sommer-Straße). At the Rebenring (2500 m after Rudolfplatz), you should take the left lane for going straight on further. You pass a filling station (DEA) and a railway underpass. About 500 m after that, just before you reach another big crossroad, you see my little boutique at the right hand side (Berliner Straße 102). There are some places to park in front of the shop.
Coming from Kassel (A7):
At Salzgitter-Dreieck (merging point) take the A39 to Braunschweig and turn off at the exit Braunschweig-Lehndorf. Turn right to the city (Innenstadt). After 700 m there is a square (Rudolfplatz) where you have to turn left. Go straight ahead for several kilometres (Neustadtring, Rebenring, Hans-Sommer-Straße). Coming by train:
At Braunschweig-Hauptbahnhof (central station) you either take the tram No.1 up to 'Rathaus' or the bus No.19 up to 'Gliesmaroder Straße'. Then you have to change to the tramway lines No.3 or No.8. Get off at the stop 'Querumer Straße', where you can already see my shop at the other side of the road.
